Job Description

Alexander Daniels are proud to be partnering with a high growth business operating across Europe boasting over £1bn of revenue, who are looking to grow their finance team as a result of such growth plans. The business are seeking candidates from a creditcontrol or customer service background to support their internal debt collection process, supporting the evolution of the processes and working towards the successful reduction of aged debt levels and ensuring good levels of cash flow.Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing outstanding debt on a daily basis and liasing with debtors appropriately to reclaim outstanding monies in the most efficient way.
  • Discussing payment plans if necessary whilst maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
  • Updating all parties of agreements as necessary for cash flow purposes.
  • Reporting to the Debt Collection Team Leaders to maintain the processes for chasing debt for the designated sites, identifying, and assisting in process improvement.
  • Resolving any queries as necessary with a view to recovering outstanding balances
  • Following debt escalation processes when required.
The ideal candidate will be from a credit control or customer service background with a professional and friendly manner, who thrives on working in a busy fast-paced environment. You must be a confident communicator with a flexible and committed approach,able to handle a high volume workload as part of a team.This is a business that cares about its employees and genuinely wants everyone to have the best experience at work possible.
