Job Description

Class 1 LGV DriverWould you like to join a company that offers several career opportunities within a continually growing company Bulkhaul are continuously recruiting for full-time, permanent Class 1 LGV Drivers to join their ADR Liquids Division and the Bulk Powders Division,with the ideal candidate earning £12.50 per hour for all hours worked plus generous benefits. Potential earnings for a Monday - Friday plus weekend working (Tramping included) shift pattern can be circa £41,900 or circa £50,220 if in receipt of the Londonweighting allowance.Duties:ADR Liquids Division

Responsibilities of the ADR role include loading, discharging, cleaning and the shipment of tank containers that transport hazardous and non-hazardous bulk liquids. A valid ADR certificate (in tank containers) is a requirement of the ADR role in every classificationexcept 1 & 7.

Bulk Powder Division

Responsibilities of the Powder role will include loading, discharging, cleaning and the shipment of 30ft box containers that transport non-hazardous granules and foodstuffs.

Requirements:

have a valid LGV Category CE Driving Licence;
have a good knowledge of EU tachograph legislation;
have a minimum of 12 months Class 1 driving experience;
have no more than 6 penalty points on their licence (none of which are to be related to drink/drug driving offences or dangerous driving);
work an average of 55-60 hours (Tramping included)
have good knowledge of Geography and UK roads;
be compliant with Health & Safety and HR policies and procedures;

Benefits:

£12.50 per hour for all hours worked (plus London weighting allowance from West Thurrock operating centre (see below)) *
London weighting allowance £32 / day Mon-Fri - payable to drivers based from the West Thurrock operating centre only
£60 Sunday / Bank Holiday Supplement
£28 tax free per overnight subsistence
Wages paid monthly
