Job Description

Red Recruitment is recruiting Business Development Representatives to join our client, a specialist in their field who delivers SMART technology services to businesses. This position is hybrid, you will be required to work in the Newport office every Tuesdayand Thursday but you can be based anywhere.The salary for this position is £24,000 per annum but also includes up to £10,000 commission and a car allowance after the probation period.Benefits and Package for a Business Development Representative:

  • Salary: £24,000 per annum + £10,000 commission
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Location: Hybrid, you must be available to work in the office located in Newport every Tuesday and Thursday
  • Performance bonuses
  • Pension contribution
  • After the probation period you will receive a car
Key Responsibilities of a Business Development Representative:
  • Outbound calling IT companies, generating own leads
  • Identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities
  • Adhering to activity KPIs
  • Demonstrating a good understanding of the business process and sales cycle
  • Building and developing a sales pipeline for new business prospects
Key Skills and Experience of a Business Development Representative:
  • Reliable, proactive, self-motivated and driven to success are all traits required
  • Strong influencing skills to close on KPI activities
  • The ability to work well as part of a team as well as a self-leader
  • Good time management and prioritisation skills are required
  • The ability to quickly identify client challenges and be able to respond accordingly
