Job Description

Maintenance Contracts Manager

CompanyWorking for a growing commercial construction contractor in the display water feature and landscape irrigation industries, our Client is looking to expand its Maintenance contracts team.OpportunityDue to expansion and a healthy order book, we are now looking to employ a Maintenance Contracts Manager.Based from the companys Wincanton office, you will be responsible for the day-day running of contracts across the South & South East of the country, which includes:
  • To ensure the successful maintenance of water feature & irrigation contracts which includes delivery of mechanical & electrical works on time and in line with agreed site programme.
  • To ensure and oversee all safety measures are in place and adhered to such RAMS are signed, toolbox talks and accident reports are carried out
  • Actively engage in regular discussions with Site Managers, Build Manager and Quantity Surveyors.
  • Ensure workmanship standards are kept, maintained and work is installed to the correct spec.
  • Ordering project specific materials and coordinating delivery to site.
  • Preparation of project specific health & safety paperwork.
  • Attend reactive and scheduled visits to customer sites
  • Survey existing irrigation/water feature systems and then create reports containing recommendations and quotations for remedial work to refurbish those systems
Ideal CandidateYou will have worked within the construction industry for a minimum of 5 years and have an excellent knowledge of mechanical or similar trades and Health & Safety.You will need to be motivated and extremely organised with good time management and people skills. You should have or wish to work towards SMSTS and hold a current CSCS card & Driving Licence.
