Job Description

Are you passionate about promoting independence and tackling inequalities We have recently redesigned our services with a strong locality focus, as Barrhead Locality Manager, you will lead and shape our locality planning and service delivery as well as contributing to wider GGC planning and delivery groups. Working together in our Barrhead locality in partnership with local GPs, providers and community organisations, you will ensure that we meet people’s health, care and wellbeing needs closer to home by providing support in the right way, by the right person at the right time. This is an exciting time for us and we are looking for an energetic, compassionate, creative senior manager who has the right values, experience and leadership to help navigate our course in the next stage of our improvement journey. You should be educated to Masters Degree Level or equivalent, such as a degree and a relevant professional qualification, with significant senior management experience within a large complex organisation, preferably within the NHS/Local Authority or Public/Caring Sector.Experience of managing at a senior level in a multidisciplinary and multi-agency environment with responsibility for care, staff and financial governance.Ability to demonstrate integrity and effective leadership and management skills enabling and evidencing the successful delivery of redesign programmes to improve services and tackle inequalities.Informal ContactCandy Millard, Head of Adult Health and Social Care Localities onor email NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde encourages applications from all sections of the community.
