The firm has strong roots inthe local community and are committed to maintaining our ethos of personal and responsive service in the local market and beyond.The Opportunity:We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Associate Family Solicitor to join the Barnsely team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to take on a challenging and fulfilling position within a supportive and friendlyteam environment. With the current partner approaching retirement, there are excellent prospects for partnership for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities: Provide expert legal advice in all aspects of Family Law, including divorce, child custody, financial settlements, cohabitation disputes, prenuptial agreements, and domestic violence cases. Manage a substantial and varied caseload independently, while maintainingthe high service standards our clients expect. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing empathetic, practical and proactive advice. Participate in business development initiatives to expand the firms client base. Assist and mentormore junior members of the team as needed. Actively contribute to the overall growth and success of the firm. Skills & Experience: Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE in Family Law, preferably gained within a reputable law firm. Demonstrable experience in handling complex Family Law cases. Adept at managing a significant caseload independently, demonstrating excellent timemanagement skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to relate to clients from a variety of backgrounds. A strong business development mindset. High level of professional integrity and a commitment to uphold the firms valuesand reputation.
