� Exciting Opportunity for School Cook Extraordinaire in Barnsley! �Are you an experienced secondary school cook with a passion for serving delicious and nutritious meals to hungry students If so, we have the perfect role for you!� Position: Secondary School Cook� Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire Hours: 08:30am - 14:30pm (term-time only) Salary: £76-£80 per dayAbout Us: Join this vibrant school community in Barnsley which serves over 1200 pupils daily! This school are seeking a dedicated and experienced secondary school cook to join their dynamic kitchen team. If you thrive in a busy kitchen environment,have a knack for working under pressure to deadlines, and are committed to maintaining impeccable cleanliness and organisation, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook delicious and nutritious meals for students.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen setting.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in a school kitchen setting is preferable.
  • Ability to travel to Barnsley.
  • Ability to handle the demands of serving 1200 pupils daily.
  • Friendly, approachable, and a team player.
  • Punctual and flexible with working hours.
  • Well-presented with excellent interpersonal skills and communication.
  • Knowledge of catering and basic cooking and food preparation skills.
