Job Description

Job Opportunity: QA / Manual TesterLocation: Remote based - Home working included Salary: £30-34,000Key areas: Tester, QA, Quality Assurance, Test Cases, Stand-ups, UAT, User Acceptance Testing, EDI, WMS, Logistics, Food Distribution, CRM, Salesforce, Charity, AutomationChapman Tate Associates seeks a QA /Manual tester to join this established focused, technology driven organisation that are heavily involved in a number of charitable and humanitarian issues within the community.You will work part of a small QA Team where you will perform Software and Database testing.Use will use a blend of manual and automated testing where relevant, taking advantage of the right tools for the job. You will prepare and configure test data, manage test environments, and coordinate the communication of errors that arise from executingtest plans.Main Responsibilities

  • Analyse the project requirements and execute the prepared Test Cases to proof our systems functionality meets the Acceptance Criteria.
  • Deep understanding of the scope of the project and our Back-Office Solution.
  • Demonstration of great attention to detail and analysis, to identifying defects.
  • Use of tools to perform Functional Testing.
  • Collaborate with the Testing Team to ensure the Regression Tests are being executed correctly and promptly.
The successful candidate will have:
  • Good knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to identify, articulate and solve problems.
  • Experience of user-centric or agile delivery.
  • Proactiveness, with the ambition to learn a new system and the drive to overcome challenges by yourself and with little supervision.
  • Strong Functional Testing experience.
  • Excellent Communication manner (verbal and written) to successfully transmit the information to the client and team members.
  • Confidence in using Testing Tools and MS Office.
  • Team Player with great Problem Solving skills to achieve milestones and complete Sprints and tasks in time.
  • Capable of demonstrating Proficiency and becoming Key Member in a short period of time.
  • Take ownership of your work and contribute to a powerful team working environment.
  • Excel at their responsibilities even under pressure, maintaining good manners and great work quality.
Desirable:
  • Experience testing AWS, SalesForce and PowerBI solutions.
  • Experience of Logistics solutions and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Experience of SQL, interacting with APIs, or other relevant technical experience.
