Job Description

Industrial Door EngineerBased in Barnsley Permanent, Full Time £25,000 - £30,00K My client is one of the UKs leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of all types of fast acting door, shutter doors and industrial. They have been in the industry for over 21 years experience working with commercial, industrial and high-end domesticclients and built up a very impressive portfolio. We are looking to recruit some Industrial Door Engineers / Installers to join a growing team based in Barnsley.Key Responsibilities for an Industrial Door Engineer / Installer:

  • Working on repairs, installations, and servicing of different doors/shutters
  • Working with industrial roller shutters, sections doors, steel doors and high-end doors
  • Fault Finding on various industrial doors / shutters
  • Repairs and replacing parts
  • Working alone and sometimes in a pair on different jobs
  • Building impeccable relationships with clients
Ideally as an Industrial Door Engineer / Installer you will have:
  • Previous experience in the repair/installations and servicing of doors / shutters / high speed doors
  • Have experience fault finding
  • Have an understanding of basic electrics on doori.e photo cell / safety edge/ ground loops / radar
  • Hold IPAF or PASMA Licensenot essential
  • Have a Full UK Driving License
  • Welding experience
In return, you will benefit from:A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 with weekly over time available during the week and weekends. A company vehicle and fuel card, call out rota which is paid at increase rates of pay.
