Elevation Engineering & Manufacturings team are working in partnership with another reputable client, supporting their exciting recruitment campaign, based in Barnsley. This customer has 50 years industry expertise for all Earthmoving and recycling equipment,and are looking to add an experienced Mechanic to join their expanding team. To carry out pre delivery inspections on new construction / recycling equipment Fault finding / looking for warranty issues (attention to detail) Must be able to demonstrate electrical and hydraulic fitments that may be specified to be fitted at the PDI stage - Soldering- Lights / beacons / alarms- Radios / cameras etc.- Hydraulic Hitches- Setting pressures- Fitting hydraulic attachments Ideally have knowledge of current construction / heavy plant with some mechanical / fitting skills - light vehicle experience will be considered with a view to training Must be detailed and thorough and to work at a high standard within a set time frame Able to record details - either handwritten or electronic IT literate Needs to be adaptable, flexible, and work good as part of a team Work well in a busy workshop environment Product training availableExcellent benefits include: Basic Working Hours - 0800 - 1630 / 40 hours per week Opportunities for overtime as and when required Competitive rates of pay dependent on skills and experience Holiday entitlement - 32 days (including bank holidays) Onsite parking Westfield Health Benefit Scheme Company Pension Cycle to Work SchemeContract Type: Permanent
