Job Description

Electrical Engineer required for my client based in Barnsley. They manufacture and supply a comprehensive range of equipment, products and service support.The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the build of industrial control panels and field wiring of machinery, built at the company.Electrical Engineer Position Overview

  • Responsible for new build, machine retrofit upgrades and reconditioning of older equipment.
  • Be involved in machine / plant testing and commissioning both at the companys offices and on-site for the UK territory.
  • Perform and assist with fault finding / diagnostics.
  • Work with new equipment build and older equipment modification.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines of both in the companys office and on-site with customers.
  • Work closely with the Workshop manager and directors on completing customer requirements and projects.
Electrical Engineer Position Requirements
  • Good knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and polyurethane machinery is desirable.
  • Good engineering experience - working in a similar role previously.
  • Managerial / supervisory experience is needed to be able to follow directions on sites from customers and the company.
  • Based within a commutable distance of Barnsley.
  • Full UK driving licence.
Electrical Engineer Position Remuneration
  • £30,000 to £40,000 - dependent upon experience, skill and qualifications.
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm - subject to overtime requirements - 40hours.
