Are you passionate about enhancing a child or young persons everyday lifeWould you like to progress your career by working with children who require complex clinical careApollo Home Healthcare are looking to recruit Healthcare Assistants who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, to support our young service users who have complex care needs.Our service user is a young baby who is currently residing in Sheffield Childrens hospital.We urgently require a team of Healthcare Assistants to facilitate his discharge back to his family home in Barnsley, where he lives with his parents and older sibling.He is a happy young baby who enjoys lots of interaction and attention from his care team, especially being held and having cuddles!You will support him to take part in playtime activities such as listening to music and sensory based play and his family would like for his care team to continue to encourage him with all aspects of play therapy.Our young service user is likely to be ready for bed upon the arrival of his night care team and you will be on hand to support him throughout the night. This will include carrying out regular observations, administering medication and tending to his personaland clinical care needs.Our ideal applicant will have a strong background in care and preferably have experience of supporting children with complex care needs.Please note, due to the travel to Sheffield Hospital, drivers are preferred.Essential Experience Required
