Job Description

At Adapt Recruit, we are currently looking for caring and enthusiastic individuals for a care home based in Royston area. This position is a full time permanent role supporting vulnerable elderly service users. This role also involves taking service users out into the community, activities, appointments and supporting service users with daily tasks.Requirements:

  • Genuine interest in working within a caring environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

  • Willingness to participate in training programmes
  • Satisfactory pre employment checks
    • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting clients when required with personal care and all other aspects of daily living
  • assist clients in all aspects of their care needs
  • provide attention when needed whilst ensuring clients train their comfort and dignity
  • closely monitor clients who may be confused and / or who have behavioural difficulties
  • assist in the promotion of confidence
  • ensure full privacy and dignity of clients is maintained at all time, in line with companies policies and procedures
  • Clean and maintain equipment used by clients
