Job Description

About The RoleDo you put your patients at the heart of everything you do and constantly strive to do things better Like you, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for all patients with a commitment to delivering the highest standards of care and safety.Due to expansion we are currently looking for theatre scrub nurses or operating department practitioners to join our team on a part time basis.We can offer you flexible working, clinical training, excellent clinical facilities and if you are joining us from outside the area, there is a generous relocation package available.About The CandidateAs an HCPC registered operating department practitioner or an NMC registered nurse with previous experience in orthopaedics you will also be up to date with current research and developments in theatre practise. In addition, you will have a sound knowledgeof Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating department and will be responsible for ensuring the continual cleanliness of the theatre and equipment.It goes without saying privacy and confidentiality are key throughout the team and you will act as an advocate for the patient in the intra-operative phase and be responsible for total patient care in the perioperative phase.About The CompanyWhen youre part of the Practice Plus Group team, you dont just have a job.
