Our mission is to become the housebuilder of choice in the North by making aspirational homes attainable.Due to continued success and future business growth, we have created two new Regional Finance Assistant vacancies to join our team based at our Group head office in Barlborough, Chesterfield.The RoleAre you organised, analytical and have a good attention to detail Do you want to be a part of a friendly, driven team then your next career could be with us!Joining our team as Regional Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for the daily management of the cashbooks in the COINS system, and all payments for the business. A fully paperless office, all receipts, refunds and banking are processed, and paperworksaved down electronically.Key duties and requirementsYou will also be responsible for but not limited to;Other duties include:

  • Keeping all cashbooks up to date on a daily basis within the Coins system including reviewing and posting all Worldpay transactions, daily posting of receipts and refunds and weekly banking
  • Production of weekly Bank reconciliations
  • Raising ALL payments for the business
  • Raising of Sundry Sales Invoices within the Coins system
  • Raising of Contract Sales Invoices within the Coins system
  • Credit Control and chasing of all outstanding debts when they become due
  • Review of Plot Balance reports on a monthly basis
Who are we looking forAs well as being able to demonstrate your experience within a finance role previously, you must also possess an aptitude to combine strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to relate to all levels of staff, whilst also maintaininga keen desire to work in a quality driven business.You will also possess:
  • Strong Outlook skills
  • Excellent IT skills including excel
  • Strong communication skills required when dealing with suppliers & colleagues
  • An accurate and methodical approach
  • An organised and motivated outlook
  • A strong ability to work to deadlines
  • A flexible Attitude & Team Player mentality
  • COINS experience (Desirable)
