Job Description

An exciting Marketing Coordinator position has become available, paying up to £24,000 depending on experience. Based in Barlborough you will be reporting to the Marketing Manager to offer hands on support with all areas of the marketing department includingcreating presentations and marketing content, press releases, managing all social media, working with external agencies and supporting product launches to name a few. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to start their career within marketingand has recently qualified with either a marketing or management degree or someone who has relevant working experience and would like to progress onto the next step of their career.Duties to include:

  • Working with external agencies to create and update marketing and sales materials
  • Provide images and comprehensive product technical information to customers
  • Maintain and improve the Companys website with new products, new releases and case studies using the software tools provided.
  • Planning, production, monitoring and analysis of content and digital marketing ie analytics, Twitter, Pinterest, Linkedin etc
  • Create marketing and sales presentations for the sales team
  • Assist with the organisation of events and exhibitions
  • Support product launches utilising the full marketing mix
  • Create and circulate press releases to the trade
  • Understand and live the brand guidelines, working with 3rd party suppliers where necessary to ensure that all products adhere to these guidelines in terms of packaging, fixing instructions, labelling etc
  • Management of in-house CRM systems
  • Lead generation through marketing activities; including monitoring and tracking of responses to marketing campaigns and making suggestions for improvements
  • Take an active part in meetings, training sessions, conference calls etc.
Competencies and experience:
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing with a marketing related degree / HND or experience within a marketing department
  • Demonstrate an understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must have excellent writing skills, telephone manner and experience in creating and implementing promotional initiatives and content management via social media and online marketing programmes
  • The ability to manage multiple projects against tight deadlines, with an eye for excellence and minimal supervision
  • Have the drive and determination to be successful and make a difference
Photoshop and Adobe Creative Cloud experience and understanding would be advantageous but not essential- Basic Salary: £20-24k dependant on experience- Hours of Work: 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.00pm on Friday with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break each day- 25 days Annual holiday and 8 Bank/Statutory holidays in a full year- Stakeholder Pension with Employer Contribution
