About The RoleAre you an experienced Anaesthetic Practitioner looking for ad-hoc shifts to fit around your current responsibilitiesAt Practice Plus Group, we are driven by innovation and proudly deliver through expert colleagues working together as a team.Supported by our experienced Theatre Manager Marie, you will conduct basic theatre duties as allocated by the team leader or senior nurse on duty. This will include checking that the theatres are set up and equipped appropriately for the days list, receivingnew patients, undertaking pre-operative checks and assisting the anaesthetist.About The CandidateYou will be an NMC registered General Nurse or an HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner and proven experience in anaesthetics and recovery. You will also be experienced in the intubation and extubation and resuscitation of patients. Key to the rolewill be your up to date clinical knowledge of anaesthetics, sedatives, muscle relaxants, analgesics and emergency drugs as well as spinal, epidural and general anaesthetics.About The CompanyAs a bank team member you have flexibility to choose the shifts that work for you around your other commitments.
