Accounts & Purchase Ledger Coordinator£25,000- £30,000 DOEBarlborough, ChesterfieldThe RoleAre you keen to work with a progressive and growing organisation in the construction industry who values your conscientious work ethic and offers a supportive and stimulating work environment If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.Woodall Homes, a small but growing organisation who build high quality homes across the East Midlands region, are looking to appoint an Accounts & Purchase Ledger Coordinator. You will work alongside colleagues in the Finance team to coordinate company spending, oversee all purchases made by the business and monitor its cash flow.Key Responsibilities:The key responsibilities of an Accounts & Purchase Ledger Coordinatorinclude, but are not limited to:

  • Communicating with both internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and providers.
  • Building relationships with employees across the organisation.
  • Managing short term cash flow.
  • Processing the Purchase Ledger across all Group Companies.
  • Managing all credit card and expense claims.
  • Providing information for monthly and quarterly Financial Reporting.

The PersonThe key skills and qualities of an Accounts & Purchase Ledger Coordinatorare:
  • Extensive experience of running a busy purchase ledger.
  • Experience of the Sage 50 system (or similar).
  • A professional approach to working collaboratively with others but also able to work independently.
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines to meet payment terms and organisational reporting requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to manage supplier enquiries appropriately.
  • Ability to generate and analyse reports from the financial management systems.
  • Strong IT and computer skills.
  • A positive can do approach and willingness to take personal accountability.
