Job Description

Assistant Headteacher for Behaviour and Inclusion - Barking and Dagenham

Engage Education is currently working with a Secondary school in Barking and Dagenham who are expanding their senior leadership team this September and subsequently seeking to appoint an additional Assistant Headteacher to oversee Behaviour and Inclusion.The successful applicant will be expected to oversee either Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4 whole school behaviour or inclusion as well as line managing some of their non-core/Ebacc departments.This position is suitable for either an existing senior leader or someone looking for their first senior leadership position who is looking to make a real difference in an East London Secondary School.Key Information:
  • Area: Barking
  • Salary Expectations: Leadership scale 12-16
  • Ofsted: Good
You must:
  • Hold QTS
  • Have extensive experience of working a Key Stage 3, 4 and 5
  • Evidence of successful school improvement and planning
  • Evidence of successful performance management of staff
  • Experience in leading at least one curriculum area
  • Evidence of raising attainment of disadvantaged students
