Join Our Team as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) in a Primary School in BargoedAre you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse needs We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and supportive educational community in Bargoed!Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: A Primary School in BargoedResponsibilities: As a valued member of our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1-1 and small group support with diverse needs
Assist in the implementation of Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) and tailored learning strategies to each child.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents and staff to ensure holistic support
Implement effective behaviour management strategies

Qualifications and Skills needed for a SEN Teaching Assistant:

Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or relevant educational background
Understanding of various additional needs and the ability to tailor accordingly
Relevant qualifications (CACHE Level 1/2/3) is desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting the educational development of students

What youll need to register with us

Be willing to or already hold an Enhanced DBS Check
Registration with the EWC (We can assist with this)
