We are looking to recruit for an Assistant for the procurement team. You will work closely with the buying team to support in sourcing of products, negotiating best terms, reducing costs and driving additional business income.The role holder should have a basic understanding of negotiation and experience in managing internal and external relationships.DutiesReporting to manager in the day to day management of suppliers and internal customer needs.Assisting to manage a portfolio of suppliers Set up and maintenance of new suppliers and productsManage Day to Day queriesWorking with Planning for forecasting and order managementExperiencePrevious administrative experience desiredAble to work effectively as part of a teamStrong attention to detailKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPointCompany offer a fantastic working environment with excellent benefits and career progression. Hours are Monday to Friday 9-5pm.
