Our established successful growing client is looking to recruit for an additional Junior Buyer within a small team.The role:To take ownership & negotiation of product cost prices to continually ensuring lowest cost sourcingAgree annually supplier revenue and monitor monthly performance versus FY budgetDevelopment and implementation of business Buying StrategyMatrix Management of Suppliers in line with Destination CategoriesSetting up of new suppliers in line with regulatory requirements of the businessReview product sourcing to ensure quality of customer service and cost/margin control is a constant source of focus.Identify & address supplier related performance issues and NCR performanceSupport NPD projects by sourcing new/alternative product as requiredStandardise payment terms with all UK suppliers gain credit status with all overseas suppliersExperience / QualificationsEducated to degree level or equivalentMember of CIPS but not essentialExperience in buying within a similar/retail environmentEffectively working to deadlinesExcellent financial analysis capabilitiesProven Ability to make decisions.To increase the pace and achieve goals and objectives of department.Company offer an excellent working environment, career progression and a good benefit package.Free Car parking and on site Gym.
