Job Description

Secondary English Teacher Wanted For Maternity CoverPay: £141.71 - £200 a dayTeaching Personnel are working with a large secondary school based in Caerphilly to recruit an Experienced or NQT English teacher for maternity cover starting January the 5th.The successful teacher will be joining a successful department in a thriving school. The school are looking for someone who can fit right into the role and continue at the level of education that the school demand. The position is covering a maternity postuntil the end of the academic year; however, the successful English teacher will have the chance to be taken on to a permanent full time school contract.As well as supporting the large English department you will be expected to carry out full planning and marking responsibilities for all classes. The school are looking for a English teacher who will be proactive and engaging within the lesson to promotegood behaviour throughout. Our school are offering onsite parking, additional CPD courses and a member of staff on hand for any concerns during your time at the school.Requirements:

  • English Teachers with experience in teaching either KS3/KS4 or both
  • NQTs and Experienced teachers welcome to apply
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Ability to create engaging and encouraging lessons
  • Ability to build positive professional relationships with both staff and pupils
  • Happy to teach a mix of abilities in the classroom
  • Capability to enhance pupils knowledge and push them to achieve their goals
