Job Description

Join this highly successful company in their Bargoed office as a Business Manager. This company offers a vast variety of benefits and focus on development and career advancement.Required to demonstrate overall accountability for the trade business, driving sales and gross profit growth through new customer acquisition and existing basket growth.The role has three direct reports, Trade Business Development Manager, Sales & Customer Service Team Leader and Export Customer Account ManagerMain Responsibilities

  • Management of the sales and customer service team
  • Acting as business lead for strategic planning, change projects, budgeting and forecasting
  • Delivery of annual sales and gross profit budgets
  • Periodic pricing review maintaining targeted margin % with support from Commercial Finance and BDM as required.
Skills Required
  • Experience managing a commercial sales team
  • Ideally educated to Degree-level or equivalent
  • Competent with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Trade / business-to-business (B2B) experience is desirable but not essential
  • Export trade experience is desirable but not essential
