Our client the UKs leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of bespoke physical security products are looking for a motivated and experienced Field Service Technician to join their dynamic team.. If you are looking for an exciting opportunity that allows you to be on the road, work autonomously and solve complex problems, then this is the job for you. Location: Glasgow/EdinburghSalary: £30-32k per annum You will be the primary point of contact for all service-related tasks, including maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter and have a passion for problem solving. You must also have excellentcommunication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to maintain and update your own van stock. You must also be comfortable working with a tablet for job reporting.You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment, adhering to company policies and procedures, and driving service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.Our ideal applicant will have/be;* BSEN16005 accreditation - Desirable.* Recent experience with Automatic Doors (Swing/Slide) - Desirable.* Field Service experience within mechanical electrical environment preferable.* IT skills (Proficient in mobile device/tablet use).* Ability to troubleshoot, i.e. repair equipment.* Positive can-do self-motivated attitude towards work and fellow team members & willingness to support other technicians in the field. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers.* Full UK Driving License.eSift have been appointed as the resource partner and we are managing this role on behalf of our client.
