Job Description

Part time Housekeeper / Family Cook Position: PermanentJob Reference: DB541Job Title:Part time HousekeeperLocation:Banstead, SurreyNumber of Children: Two boys aged 4 & 8Pets: x3 chickensSalary: £15/16 gross per hourHoliday: Statutory paid holidayStart Date: ASAPHours Required: Family are flexible, but 3 hours a day / 3, 4 or 5 days a week.Driver: A driver is preferred, but not essentialSummary:We are looking for a part time Housekeeper for a family. They live in a four bed detached home a, with a large garden and 3 chickens.Duties will include:

  • Cleaning x3 bathrooms
  • hoovering the house
  • ironing shirts (5 a week) plus the odd other clothing items
  • changing beds
  • cooking some family dinners
  • preparing some lunch foods that can be made in advance
  • cook once a week a batch for the chickens.
  • occasional trip to the shop / farm shop
  • in the spring and summer, we would require time to be spent on watering the gardens
    • This role will suit you if you are experienced, organised and a good timekeeper. We are looking for someone who is good at cooking with good ideas.
