Job Description

Firewall EngineerA leading financial service are looking to hire a Firewall EngineerPurpose of your role:A Senior Technical Consultant within ENS will be expected to have a broad technical understanding in Network, Firewall and Security and able to integrate different technologies into complicated solutions based on business requirements. This highly technical and service focused position will involve operational support, governance, engineering and project delivery from concept, scoping, design through to implementation. The ability to work effectively as a member of a global team across regions is essential.Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver innovative solutions for the network and firewall product portfolios.
  • Ensure a smooth service transaction from project delivery (Day1) to operations (Day2) via proper documentation, knowledge transferring and service readiness assessments
  • Contribute to strategic direction of technologies and roadmaps from a technical and theoretical perspective.
  • Effectively manage end-to-end technical project delivery via project management life cycle
  • Provide ITIL based Incident/Change/Problem management in a global operational environment
  • Able to resolve highly complicated technical issues with effective engagement with vendors
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, operational KPI and delivery of high quality of the service
    • Skills and experience:
  • Be considered as a network security expert, with deep subject matter expertise in a number of technologies and a broad understanding across network security and non-network technology.
  • Strong hands on experience of managing Network, Firewall and security products including but not limited:
  • Palo Alto Firewalls including Panarama (VPN/IPS/Wildfire)
  • ZScaler Cloud Proxies
  • F5 server load balancing and security technology (GTM/LTM/ASM/AFM)
  • Excellent understanding of network security architecture, design and support.
  • Excellent business scenes for a technical support environment.
  • Good analytical skill and able to solve complicated problem logically
