Job Description

We are committed to achieving high standards of quality in all that we do.Position: Family Support WorkerLocation: HMP High Down, Banstead, SurreyContract Type: Permanent, Part TimeHours: 20.5 Hours Per WeekSalary: £9,874.56 pro rata (FTE £20,572.50)Closing date for applications: 1st April, 2021Interview date: TBCAbout the role:As Family Support Worker at HMP High Down you will work as one of the Pact Family team. You will be based primarily in the prison’s visitor centre and visits hall providing support, advice and guidance to families visiting prisoners, facilitating prison visits, family days, as well as supporting the catering and play service.About You:To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable experience of working with families from diverse backgrounds, within a Supported Service. You will have the ability to provide a warm welcoming environment to ensure that families, children and prisoners are treated with respect, dignity and courtesy.
