Position: Embedded Software EngineerSalary: Up to £65,000Location of Office: AberdeenLocation of Work: Hybrid WFH AvailableThe role: Our client is setting up a brand-new R&D hub in the Aberdeen area and are looking to add Embedded Engineers to the team. If you live within a commutable distance from the Aberdeen area and have 3+ years industry experience withinan embedded design role, this could be the role for you. This new team will be a key function of a multinational business who design and develop specialist measurement devices and systems for multiple industries that are used around the globe.Joining a new team focussed on new product development the successful Embedded Engineers will be working throughout the full design lifecycle from initial concept right the way through to completion. You will play a key role in all software aspects of thedevices and have the opportunity to make a real impact in how new products are developed using modern technology and development processes.This is an exciting time to be joining an expanding business who have an extensive new product roadmap ahead of them and are investing in new office space with state-of-the-art development tools and are offering flexible working options that includes workingfrom home.Skills and experience required:

Embedded C programming
Bare metal development
ARM, NXP or Atmel microprocessors
RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, UART etc

Desirable skills and experience:

Wi-Fi or Bluetooth modules
Electronic circuit design
PCB layout
