In fact, we are dedicated to creating inclusive and thriving Communities for both our Customers and Employees.So, what are you waiting for Join a Community that cares about you!More about your roleAre you passionate about people and delivery of great service to Customers whilst driving operational efficiency We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead our Scheduling and Admin Operations team at Places for People.As our Head of Internal Operations, you will be instrumental in leading our multi-functional Scheduling and Admin teams to ensure the Customer is at the heart of what we do across our Colleagues and Communities.

  • Youll drive the development and implementation of efficient scheduling strategies of our Repairs and Services, ensuring optimal deployment of our front-line operatives and Contractor Partners.
  • Supporting quick turnaround times of our vacant homes to minimise wait times for our new Customers.
  • Along with our Field teams, Leading the planning and scheduling of our Compliance programmes.
  • Supporting our Estates teams with billing and administration, helping to drive forward with their development plans
  • Management of all our telephony and administrative activities from our Customers and Colleagues across the business

Your role will also involve budget management, performance managementand stakeholder collaboration to align the teams efforts with organisational objectives.As a leader, you will inspire and mentor a team of three front-line leaders, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.More about you
  • We are looking for individuals who bring a wealth of experience in Field Scheduling and dynamic planning to the table.
  • You will need to be someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and dive into the intricacies of operations.
  • As a natural leader, you will inspire and engage your team, setting ambitious standards for performance.
  • Your focus on technical improvement will be pivotal as you reshape our systems and processes for the better. If you are ready to lead by example and deliver exceptional results, we want to hear from you!
  • You will spend 2/3 days a week at our Preston office, with occasional travel to Edinburgh as needed.
  • Excellent communication is key for collaborating with stakeholders and articulating our future vision for the team and how we continue to support our Colleagues and our Communities.
  • Customer satisfaction is at the forefront, so ensuring exceptional service delivery is crucial.
  • Proficiency in budget management is essential to align resource planning with financial objectives.
