With a strong emphasis on visible Leadership, accountability and building a team ethos, this role is ideal for anyonelooking to make a difference in our quest to deliver products timely and accurately while ensuring world class customer service in the process.Working under the guidance of the Thetford Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small team of administrative personnel responsible for order entry, formulation activities, invoicing, answering queries and delivering customer serviceexcellence for products compounded on site. You will bet the first point of contact for internal and external customers, wishing to place an order with Baxter and it is therefore crucial that the team leader has a proven record in communicating with stakeholdersand delivering results to a high customer service satisfaction level.You will have close collaboration with the onsite Planning, Production, Warehouse and Logistics teams and it is expected that the team leader is having a holistic approach to all Supply Chain related activities on site as well as with a positive attitudeto proactively use problem solving and lean tools to identify opportunities for improvements as well as the true root cause if deviation incidence occurs withinResponsibilitiesEnd to End Order Processing, Administration and Demand MonitoringFormulation and checking of Bills of Materials (BOMs) for products to be compounded in Thetford Aseptic unitEnsuring completion of order invoicing and ensuring any queries are responded to and resolved promptly by Administration teamPerform reconciliation and or credits in Baxter systems to ensure accurate financial reportingFiling and archiving of batch/ quality records in compliance with industry regulations and internal proceduresProactively communicate and manage any gaps in, or risk of failure to supply to any customer, in close corporation with the Supply Chain team and production.Investigate service complaints received, and internal non-conformances as applicable to Thetford compounding site, and implement in a timely manner appropriate and effective containment and corrective actionsTeam LeadershipCoach and mentor staff to ensure all critical processes are executed with a sense of urgency in compliance to Baxter internal processes as well as ensuring documentation is completed in accordance with GMP, Standard Operating Procedures and other regulatoryagency requirements.Monitor and drive performance of the Supply Chain Administration team activity, to agreed KPIs and develop appropriate KPIs for performance management and talent developmentSet development objectives for, proactively coach and appraise the performance of individual team members to ensure individuals are focused on activities that will support the Thetford objectives and ensure customer satisfactionProcess Improvement & Stakeholder EngagementEstablish and maintain effective relationships and close-knit, timely communication with customers, planning team, operations team, quality team, warehouse, logistics and packing team.Ensure timely completion of relevant deviation and complaint investigations to identify true root cause and elimination of future reoccurrences. Drive implementation of learned lessons, containment and corrective actions with a sense of urgency in deliveringcustomer service excellence.Proactively look for opportunities to drive continuous improvement, influence decisions and deliver the results whilst ensuring an appropriate level of compliance.QualificationsBackground in supply chain administration, order processing or equivalentProven experience in working in a fast-paced environment e.g. in a quick turnover manufacturing facilityAbility to understand the customer needs and balance against the business requirementsProven track record of stakeholder managementExcellent verbal and formal communication skills, critical reasoning skills, able to communicate clearly and succinctly and adapt to stakeholders needsStrong analytical skills, including advanced use of Excel.Experience in Business Analysis and Intelligence tools (e.g. Visio, Tableau and SQL) not essential, but preferred or willingness and ability to develop self to map business processes and drive business process improvements.
