Job Description

HR Administrator Balerno, Edinburgh (Predominantly Office Based)Permanent £22,129 - £26,236Full Time 35 hours a week 09:00-17:00Start DateASAPReed HR are pleased to be working with a well-established third sector organisation on a HR Administrator Role. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact to employees within a brilliant organisation, who carry out very meaningful work.Duties include:

  • Coordinating Recruitment; liaising with hiring managers, drafting and placing job ads, collating applications for shortlisting, arranging interviews, communicating with candidates
  • Drafting offer letters, contracts and other HR correspondence accurately
  • Conducting pre-employment checks including PVG, SSSC and GTCS and co-ordinating the induction of new employees
  • Supporting L&D by booking courses, preparing rooms and equipment and materials
  • Maintaining HR and L&D systems (primarily BreatheHR and LearnPro)
  • Producing and formatting a range of monthly and quarterly HR and L&D reports
To be considered for these roles, candidates must have the following:
  • Proven experience of working in a HR environment, with knowledge of HR processes, including recruitment, induction, absence management and employee relations
  • Strong Administration abilities
  • Confident using people and learning-related IT systems
  • Excellent Prioritisation Skills
  • Attention to detail
