Job Description

Personal Lines Adviser(s)Location: Wye (on-site)Salary: £Negotiable + BenefitsThis is a great opportunity to become a valued member of our Personal lines team based at our office in Wye.You will be joining us during this exciting period of growth, with a fantastic opportunity to build an excellent career here.Wye insurance is part of The County Group which is one of the North Wests fastest-growing brokers and one of the UKs Top 25 brokers. We pride ourselves on being a modern, forward-thinking insurance broker offering a traditional service.The day to day:

  • Deliver excellent customer service to all customers.
  • Uphold the companys mission statement and values. Responsible for the achievement of individual income target.
  • The achievement of new business case count and retention targets. Maximising sales opportunities by proactively selling and securing additional business.
  • Raising underwriting concerns and rating risks appropriately. Accurately complete administrative tasks such as post, diary as well as account and insurer queries.
  • Securing a consistent pass rate on all call observations. Awareness of complaint handling - Being able to resolve minor customer complaints and being fully aware of the company complaints process.
  • Liaise and build relationships with insurers and customers - both internally and externally. General administration work: Prioritise all client communication (via phone, email and in-person) to ensure the customer receives a high level of customer service.

About you:
  • The successful applicants should ideally have at least 12 months of sales and Insurance experience. There is also a requirement that the individual will be a good communicator and have strong numerical and verbal skills.

  • Adaptable and confident communicator. Able to meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Be energetic, enthusiastic, and a positive approach to problem-solving with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Organised and understand how to prioritise and manage your own workload.
  • Confident, fast, and accurate when using computers, email, and other channels of communication.
