Job Description

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are excited to be working with a market-leading business based in Bakewell, as they look to appoint a progressive & highly enthusiastic Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a 5-6 month basis to cover maternityleave.The business are continually growing, so there could always be potential for permanency down the line! Duties & Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant will include:

Support the Group finance team in the preparation of monthly management accounts for both the profit and loss and balance sheet
Management Accountant responsibility for smaller entities within the Group
Assist in the preparation of the Group tax computations
Preparation of VAT returns, and Gift Aid Submissions
Prepare weekly performance analysis and reviews, KPI’s, and ad hoc performance analysis

Key Skills & Experience needed:

New/part qualified accountant
Previous accounting experience
Knowledge of financial systems
IT literate, including Microsoft Excel
Strong organisational skills
Able to prioritise work and work to strict deadlines
