Job Description

HR Business PartnerLocated near Bakewell - North DerbyshirePaying Up to £57k + car allowance + fantastic benefitsSite BasedThe LHH (formerly Badenoch + Clark) HR team are working with a leading manufacturing business to appoint a HR Business Partner to join their team based near Burton Upon Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a HRBP or HR Manager working in a similarhands-on environment.What you will be doing

  • Work in line with business strategic objectives, to pro-actively support the development of the business and its people within area of responsibility
  • To act as business partner to site managers, shaping and influencing their thinking on people issues, managing and pro-actively resolving all aspects of the employee life cycle.
  • This includes resourcing, attendance, performance management, disciplinary and grievance issues, talent management and succession planning.
  • To ensure best practice is followed by providing effective professional HR (Human Resources) advice and guidance in line with current legislation and company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor, manage and improve, in conjunction with managers, the HR KPIs and metrics
  • Succession planning, talent management, attraction and development strategies
  • Support and lead on key projects such as organisational transformation and change projects to drive a continuous, high performing business
About you:
  • An established HRBP / HR Manager with strong generalist experience, ideally within a manufacturing or similar blue-collar environment
  • Experience working with trade unions
  • Performance management, talent management, recruitment & resourcing, employee relations, employment law, and organisational change experience
  • Experience dealing with complex ER cases
  • Degree level education or equivalent, CIPD or MCIPD preferred
  • Good Knowledge of UK employment legislation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to include having the confidence to deal with difficult stakeholders and push back
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of customer focus
  • Delivery to deadlines and data management and reporting.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work proactively across the business and HR function with minimal intervention.
