Stock Administrator - Strong Excel Skills NeededLocation : BagshotSalary £28-30,000 + benefits Hours : Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pmMy client who are based near Bagshot are looking for a Stock Administrator to join their team. We are looking for candidates who have got intermediate to advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Formulas) who have got experienced in forecasting, purchasing (procurement) planning, reporting and analysing.Daily DutiesTo manage all elements of procurement and service levelsOrdering, process management of promotional stock and supplier management in conjunction with the plant team and Head of Buying.To manage all of the purchasing on a daily basisEnsuring optimum stock levelsImprove the scheduling of stock featured in catalogues, media publications and promotions.To ensure the most cost-effective stock management through planning management of reserves to maximise availability and continuity of stock through the seasonProvide support with suppliers where required in the resolution of delivery shortages or delivery note issuesTo track all KPI and continually monitor and evaluate sales and stock figures on a monthly basis to ensure sales and stock turn targets are being met.Provide on-going stock exception analysis and reports, ensuring issues and opportunities are highlighted and actions proposed to improve stock turn and drive sales and profitability.Analyse and interpret data to ensure that the most appropriate action is taken in the required timescales in order to ensure that supply chain issues are identified and resolvedIdentify trends and opportunities where possibleKey experience, Knowledge and skills Preferably of Graduate calibre or equivalent however, this should not deter candidates who can demonstrate ability and a willingness to succeed.Good knowledge of stock procurementGood Communication skillsComputer Literate (Excel & Word) intermediate levelGood planning and organisational skills, and attention to detailAbility to work to time pressures in a fast moving and rapidly changing marketAbility to work with ambiguity and to make pragmatic decisionsBasic Level financial awareness and intermediate level ability to interpret dataGood interpersonal skills - A team playerDriving Licence
