Job Description

Our client runs a rehabilitation centre in Bagshot and a Nursing Home in Staines and is currently looking for 9 Registered General Nurses to join their team.The successful candidates must be educated to at least NQF level 6, have good communication and people skills, enthusiasm and general interest in healthcare with good work ethics to guide personal and professional conduct, and either be NMC UK Registered Nurse or in possession of an NMC letter, having passed their CBT and awaiting OSCE exams.The salary on offer is between £18 to £21 per hour based on a 38.5 hours working week; previous UK experience will command a salary towards the higher end.Primary ResponsibilitiesTo ensure that comprehensive, individualised care plans are in place and are regularly reviewed and evaluated in accordance with the CQC guidelines and company policyTo act as the Nurse in Charge, leading and delegating work effectively to the care teamAssist and to deal with emergencies and pre-planned treatment of residentsManage own workloadMaintain ongoing assessment and review of all residentsTake responsibility for medication administrationApply surgical dressings and other clinical interventions as requiredTo supervise, support and develop a team of care workers to enable the delivery of high-quality careAdvise on nursing care, disease prevention, nutrition, etc.Liaise with management and senior nurses to ensure effective communication for the benefit of the residents andtheir familiesPlan, manage, provide and evaluate nursing care services for residents/patients in line with their nursing/therapeutic care plan ensuring Key Lines of Enquiries (KLOE) as per CQC’s fundamental standards of care are maintained.We are committed to being a progressive and supportive employer.
