Job Description

Assistant Restaurant Manager£12.50 per hour + company benefitsWe are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join a new team at a brand new table service restaurant and bar serving quality fresh food menus in very stylish surroundings. It will initially be open day times only for breakfast and lunch with an evening service to follow three nights a week.The emphasis will be on delivering a high end relaxed service, serving quality restaurant/brasserie style menus - all fresh locally sourced produce, and giving exceptional customer service. We need you to have Assistant Management experience gained in either independent or branded high street fresh food table service restaurants.You will need your own transport.ROLE - ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGERAs the Assistant Restaurant Manager you will:

  • Take responsibility for opening and closing and managing the team
  • Work alongside and deputise for the restaurant manager
  • Recruit, train and develop the team
  • Work in a hands-on capacity
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional customer service
  • Manage stock, labour, and costs & budgets
  • Work closely with the kitchen team
  • Maintain high standards and all legal requirements
  • Complete required administration
    • ATTRIBUTES - ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER
  • Experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager in quality fresh food table service restaurants in either the branded high street or independent sectors
  • The ability to train, develop and motivate people and teams
  • A strong understanding of stock and financial management
  • Have real passion for the industry
  • A very keen eye for detail and high standards
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
  • Ambition, passion and drive to succeed and further develop your career
  • IT literate - working with systems, process and social media
