Job Description

Kymab is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing a deep pipeline of novel antibody-based therapies in a broad range of indications. The Company generates its product candidates using its proprietary, integrated platforms collectively called IntelliSelect®. Kymab’s platforms have been designed to maximize the diversity of human antibodies produced in response to immunization with antigens. Selecting from a broad diversity of fully human antibodies allows for the identification of antibodies with optimal drug-like properties.To work as part of the Facilities Team, primarily responsible for facilities administration support, meeting and greeting Visitors, responsible for the Visitor booking procedure, overseeing Meeting Room bookings and arranging catering, placing stationery orders and carrying out kitchen duties, as well as providing a range of support activities in conjunction with the Facility Manager and the Facilities Support TeamKey Responsibilities:

  • Support Facilities Manager with all aspects of Facilities admin support
  • Complete contractor and visitor management including booking in and receiving visitors, arranging access badges, diary management, document management for contractor works
  • Monitor landlord works schedule and liaise with landlord to arrange dates/manage engineers, keep staff updated with all planned maintenance
  • Maintain all meetings rooms and office areas: refresh meeting room crockery, clean and wipe down areas after meetings, monitor sanitising equipment and ensure all furniture is clean and presentable, plant management, check and maintain all IT/AV equipment in meetings rooms, printer support, post management, maintain stationery supplies
  • Responsible for all catering requirements for Kymab including ordering, liaising with contractors, setting up in meeting rooms and clearing away
  • Kitchen supervisor: oversee daytime cleaning operative, maintain coffee machines, keep consumables stocked up, ordering of supplies including milk, keep kitchens clean and tidy, maintain dishwashers
  • Assist with goods in deliveries as required
  • Job Requirements:Education and Experience:
  • General education, to A’ Level/NVQ or equivalent
  • Previous relevant Administration and Visitor Management experience
  • Experience of working in a Commercial setting/Front of House environment
  • Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong IT skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet & Intranet
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • A high level of organisation skills, with ability to multi-task and prioritise work to meet deadlines
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise, ability to deal with difficult people/situations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Can maintain confidentiality and show discretion
  • Represent organization in an ethical and professional manner
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. printers)
