Job Description

Role OutlineAre you an experienced administrator who would like their first position within HR Or maybe you currently work within HR and would like to have more projects aligned with your role Then this opportunity could be for you!An exciting new role has arisen to join a friendly and supportive HR team, due to an increase of work, our client is looking to expand their team. They need someone who is highly organised and if you also enjoy a project, there are lots of exciting opportunitiesto assist with other members of the HR team.Key Duties

  • HR administration, such as referencing, Right to Work checks
  • Data entry onto HR system and insuring accurate information
  • Notifying stakeholders of newstarters, leavers etc.
  • Arrange exit interviews
  • Manage the probations document process and any other documentation
  • Complete mortgage/rental requests for staff
  • Assist with the new starter cycle, including the follow up with new starters to ensure all appropriate paperwork has been returned and checked
  • Electronic and paper filing
  • Carry out audit checks in relation to the lifecycle of an employee
  • Monitor absence
  • Updating Occupational health spreadsheet
  • Support the HR and Graduate Programme Assistant
  • Provide administrative support recruitment process
  • Taking accurate notes atmeetings
  • Arrange room bookings for interviews, meetings and training courses
  • Assist with the setting up of Lab talks
  • Research the monthly wellbeing themes in order to source resources
  • Carry out other duties as required
Person Specification:
  • Educated to GSCE level C in English and Maths
  • Experienced administrator
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Detailed orientated
  • Highly organised, adaptable and self motivated
  • Must be able to adhere to confidentiality
  • Understanding and awareness of working in an equal and diverse workplace
Location: South Cambridge, working from home and office based Vacancy Type: Contract_6 months Salary: £19,800-£20,500 D.O.EHours: 37 hours a weekStart Date: ASAP
