Job Description

Wood Machinist (CNC) and Assembly Operative£12,00ph - £15,00ph + BenefitsAvonmouth, BristolThe RoleDo you have experience using CNC routers to manufacture MFC products Are you looking to take your career in a new direction If so, we may be a good fit for each other.We have an excellent opportunity for a CNC Router and assembly operative to join a growing team within a successful manufacturing business. The Role based in Avonmouth, Bristol, working day shift but offering the opportunity to do plenty of overtime.The successful candidate will be, after full training to produce the required products to the specification and standards required. Working hours will be 7.30am - 4pmKey Responsibilities:The key responsibilities of a CNC Router/Assembler include, but are not limited to:

  • Read and comprehend technical drawings
  • Produce parts to correct specification and tolerances
  • Manage stock requirements
  • Manage inventory of finished components
  • Manage tooling and tool life cycles
  • Daily and weekly maintenance of machines
  • Work within a team environment to ensure production requirements are met
  • Work with the design team to produce first off parts for testing
  • Feedback on designs to help with product development
  • Understand MRP system requirements and uses
