Job Description

Job Title: Warranty AdministratorSalary: £24kJob Location: AvonmouthOur client, a national business providing heavy plant equipment to the Construction Industry, is looking for a Warranty Administrator to join their team.Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide reports and relevant data to support manufacturer warranty claims and sharing the results with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Responsible for specific manufacturer systems with regards to warranty claims and credit notes.
  • Accurate processing of warranty job cards & submit detailed warranty claims, within the specified timescale maximising recovery (Molson and Subcontractor).
  • Liaise with service departments to ensure jobs on the service WIP are completed in order for claims to be processed within the submission timescale
  • Responsible for the processing of warranty credit notes and cash for all manufacturers, troubleshooting if necessary.
  • Ensure all re-submit claims are completed to manufacturers request and time frame (including arranging disassemble of components and reports submitted)
  • Raise manual sales invoices monthly/weekly for manufacturers and upload on required systems.
  • Attend manufacturer meetings with Group Warranty Manager taking minutes, processing notes and creating/updating claims to ensure recovery of claims.
  • Other ad-hoc duties to assist the Service Department, such as processing subcontractor invoices, raising jobs, and answering customer telephone enquiries.
  • Confident with the use of all manufacturers systems to be able to provide cover in the event of another team members absence.
  • Any other administrative tasks within capabilities.
Work Experience and Person Specification:
  • Strong administrative experience.
  • A proficient level of computer literacy, especially using MS office applications such as Excel.
  • Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness.
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise own tasks as required.
  • Confident and clear telephone manner.
  • Good general level of Education including English, Maths, and IT.
Training:
  • Training on manufacturers systems will be provided.
