We are looking for a warehouse operative to join our team who will be responsible for enhancing the hygiene programme in our distribution centre in Avonmouth, Bristol.We offer a full time, permanent position working between the hours of 06:00 - 14:00 (any 5 days from 7 each week). The successful candidate will possess a high sense of pride in their work, be able to work using their own initiative and will be focussedon working alongside the warehouse team to maintain an excellent working environment.Pay, working hours & benefits:We offer an hourly pay rate of £9.38(£7.80if you are under 21) and you will be guaranteed a certain number of hours work per week.If youre looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.In addition to your pay you will also benefit from:- 21days annual leave.- Regular breaks during your shift (plus additional warming breaks when picking in the cold store).- Full training provided.- Free canteen facilities.- 15% staff discount to use in any of our 300+ shops on a great range of food and household essentials.- A smart uniform and all PPE provided at no cost to you.- Free life assurance.- Workplace pension.The core duties will involve but are not limited to:- Day to day cleaning of the warehouse including emptying bins and operating the waste compactor.- Collecting recyclable materials.- Quickly dealing with issues such as spill and trip hazards.- Collecting and recording of damages to assist in the reduction of waste.- Yard maintenance.A bit about us:Farmfoods are a family business with ambition.
