We are recruiting for a Technical Sales Consultant to work within our Bristol Installations Depot. The role is to provide technical support to the sales teams within the public and private sectors and offering solutions.Ideal candidates will have excellent knowledge of our product range and possess commercial awareness of the Stairlift market. We are looking for individuals who are experienced with CAD, able to conduct technical evaluations of rail design drawings to determine the best fit.To succeed in this role, you need to be confident and dynamic, able to drive continuous improvement, manging your workload effectively and influencing others. Communication is therefore key for this role.Responsibilities:To provide on and offsite support to the sales team and management with site visitsWorking key stakeholders around the businessCreate an accessible, workable and logical process for all drawings, surveys and approvals.Monitor and check rail design drawings and consultant approvals for risk factors and training opportunities.Complete a quarterly monitor of submitted surveys Induction and refresher training of Stairtracker including field support and monitoring of submissionsManaging architect and builders’ enquiries including quotation and submission Available to advise and support internal teamsTo gain a thorough understanding of the products sold by the Company and develop an understanding of competitor productsTo fully understand and appreciate the internal and external sales process To assess the needs of the client through good questioning techniques and offer solutions that are fit for purpose and suited to the client’s needsTo work with the Management Team to maximise the return on Stannah products and services sold To carry out site visits, where required, in order to better assess a customer’s requirements and give best adviceTo perform company and product presentations to existing and prospective customers where requiredTo provide cover for vacant territories and be prepared, if necessary, to stay away from home as required.Project work and reportingQualifications:Excellent IT skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe (Strong benefit if CAD / Rail Design trainedCompany Information:We are a company who are pioneers of forward thinking, we never forget that vital to our success is the amazing people who work for us and the commitment we have to our customers.
