Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Human Resources Team at Sunbelt Rentals UK as a Regional ER Advisor.In this new role you will provide an ER advisory service to colleagues, line managers and employees in Sunbelt Rentals UK across the geographical area of the South of England.Reporting to the HR Business Partner, youll ensure that the HR function operates efficiently, effectively and in line with current legislation requirements and workclosely with the wider HR team to deliver company-wide people initiatives and projects.With a strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR practices, youll be an experienced ER case worker who is used to working autonomously and is well-versed in advising and coaching managers at all levels in relation to ER issues. An excellent communicator you will be able to demonstrate your ability to build relationships with and influence your key stakeholders.Based from home, the geographical area you will cover is from Stoke to Bodmin and regular travel to Service Centres across the area will be required. We anticipate applicants will be living in a location with good transport links to effectively operate in this regional role, for example the M4 Corridor.About The CandidateThe successful candidatewill be able to demonstrate:

  • Relevant HR qualifications (CIPD Level 5 or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR practices
  • Significant experience gained working within a busy, fast paced business environment including experience of influencing management and stakeholders
  • Confidence in dealing with various levels within the organisation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of successfully working independently with limited day to day support
  • Generalist with strong experience in every aspect of employee relations
  • Experience of TUPE transfers, mergers, acquisitions and organisational change
  • Experience of delivery of HR policies and projects
  • Presentation skills
  • Coaching managers
