Job Description

Job role: Operations SupervisorLocation:Avonmouth, BristolShift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 03:0012:00Salary: £28-£30kMenzies Distribution are looking for a Operations Supervisor to join our team. Youll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers.OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR DUTIES

  • Monitoring of drivers performance,
  • Debriefing and processing collections compliantly,
  • Planning driver rotas and assigning work,
  • Maintaining service levels whilst balancing cost efficiencies,
  • People management including reviews,
  • Identifying service/compliance failures and implementing solutions,
  • Promoting health & safety practices,
  • Ensuring effective communication and teamwork between shifts/departments
OPERATION SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS
  1. A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience within a Distribution or Logistics position
  2. A proven track record of effective people management
  3. Prioritise and managing tasks in a pressurised environment
  4. Experience of delivering expanding operational KPIs.
  5. A practical approach to prioritisation of daily tasks and keeping a cool head under pressure
  6. Computer literate and able to switch from computer to computer
  7. Great communication skills
