Job Description

Join our Major Projects team as a Lifetime Quality Records (LTQR) Compiler on the Hinkley Marine and you will deliver complex work that really matters to our business, and the world around you.Avonmouth site compound (Bristol) and Hinkley Point C site (Bridgewater) with UK Travel.Role purpose:

  • Member of the project information management team sat within the quality function.
  • Accountable for the submission of all Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs) on the project and supporting the certification and handover of the structures to the Customer. This includes all records produced not only by Balfour Beatty but across all subcontractors/supplychain down to Tier 5.
Lifetime Quality Records (LTQR) Compiler, you will have the following accountabilities:
  • Responsible for the production of the construction certificates used to verify completion of the various structures and elements of the work across the entire Marine Works scope.
  • Assist the project teams with achieving progressive assurance through the production, compilation and submission of Lifetime Quality Records concurrently with the operational activities.
  • Understand and comply with documentation requirements and process records through approved workflows within our electronic document and record management system (EDRMS).
  • Assist the Information Management function with the implementation of the processes, methods and controls used in relation to production, compilation and submission of Lifetime Quality Records across all key stakeholders.
  • Track, monitor and analyse data and trends related to the progress of Lifetime Quality Record submissions in conjunction with the project certification of the works schedule.
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance throughout the design, manufacture, fabrication, construction, and handover phases of the project in line with applicable ONR site licence conditions (SL6), works information, company policies and procedures and British/internationalstandards.
  • Maintain the integrity of the data stored across the various digital assurance systems.
  • Ensure records have passed through Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP) review and acceptance.
  • Conduct compliance checks on technical documents and operational records to verify the accuracy of information.
  • Expedite records by synchronising and facilitating the flow of information between the various stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and communication throughout delivery. Use official mediums of communication as appropriate.
  • Offer advice, support, technical and contractual assistance to any and all interested parties on LTQR related matters.
You will have the following:
  • Experience working within records management on a complex project within the civil nuclear industry or similar highly regulated industry.
  • Excellent track record developed over previous experience/knowledge of LTQR/documentation processes covering the following areas:-Certification and handover-Inspection and Test plans and associated output records-Manufacturing and fabrication-Construction (civil experience preferable)-Experience working with digital quality assurance systems and electronic document and record management systems (EDRMS)-Broad knowledge of ISO 9001 standard
  • Understanding of the nuclear industry, regulatory requirements and other standards.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in line with the programme/milestone/certification requirements and to work with minimum supervision.
  • Advanced information technology skills.
  • Experience working in databases.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills - able to build and maintain strong relationships, communicate and influence at all levels.
