Job Description

HGV Class 1 Drivers required - Bristol - Up to £25.46p/h - Immediate Starts - Trunking (Limited Manual Handling) - Full and Part-Time opportunities - Apply Today!Ignition Driver Recruitment is looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers in Bristol to work for one of the UKs leading British Food Manufacturers. As the owner of Ginsters (The Cornish pasty makers) and the largest maker of Melton Mowbray Pork Pies,your rolewould be crucial in ensuring the nationwide delivery of delicious baked goods!Before you apply for this role, you must be able to answerYESto all the questions below:

  1. Do you have your Class 1 Driving Licence
  2. Do you have at least 12 monthsexperience driving a Class 1 vehicle
  3. Do you have an up-to-date Tacho Digi Card
  4. Do you have an up-to-date DCPC Card
We will accept up to 6 points on your licence, butno DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.HGV Class 1 Driver - Role & Responsibilities:As we have mentioned above, our client isone of the UKs leading British Food Manufacturers. This means that as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:
  • Driving a fully branded HGV vehicle
  • Trunking with very little manual handling
  • Required to keep up to date with the required pre & post-shift vehicle checks
  • Expected to maintain your Driver hours in accordance with Working Time Regulations
You will/will not be required to complete some manual handling - full training will be given.HGV Class 1 Driver - Working Hours:
  • Both Day &Night Shifts are available
  • 7-day operation
  • Full-time opportunities -40 hours+per week guaranteed
  • Part-time opportunities
  • Weekend-only work available
