As they continue to expand across the UK exceptional Manager to help to set up a new facility & then assume day to day responsibility.Candidates with deport start up experience [ideally from the automotive / transport sector] will be most welcome.Role Summary:We are looking for a Site Manager for the newly acquired site at Avonmouth, Bristol . Reporting to the Southern Regional Manager, you will be responsible for; Setting up the site from scratch with equipment, apparatus, and operational processes to ensure they are ready to accept incoming salvage vehicles. Managing the site, ensuring all employees complete their tasks to the appropriate standard. Recruiting, motivating, training, developing, appraising, and disciplining employees. Signing off auction vehicles, challenging vehicle values and categories and providing an oversight into the on- line vehicle sales process. Dealing with agents, calculating charges, overseeing complaints and dealing with escalated complaints. Identifying opportunities to grow and develop the site, whilst overseeing and managing any site improvements, maintenance and repairs. Health and Safety and site security, attend site if a call out required and sort out any issues appropriately; Report to and work with the environmental agency to ensure all guidelines are adhered to.Suitable candidates must have Management experience and a current driving licence; experience in conducting recruitment, training and development, appraisals and disciplinaries; excellent IT and communication skills, and must be organised, resilient andable to instigate and manage change.
