Job Description

Shift Patterns: Monday - FridayPAYE Rate: £45,000 p/a - with 33 holiday daysHours: 40 hours per weekIgloo have a fantastic opportunity for an automotive bodyshop manager to lead a brand new bodyshop team working on a new contract for the UKs leading, online, car retailer.This is a senior management position within one of the UKs largest and leading automotive companies, you will be responsible for all of the activity and daily running of the bodyshop, reporting directly to the sites General Manager.The Role:As the bodyshop manager you will be working in a recently refurbished bodyshop that boasts all the latest technology you will be managing, directing and leading a brand new bodyshop team.Within the role you will be undertaking (but not limited to) the below:

  • You will be responsible for setting the bodyshop teams daily targets and setting up KPIs.
  • You will be responsible for your teams quality of work and for the repair of vehicles in line with agreed standards and processes.
  • You must ensure you plan daily, weekly and monthly to ensure you have enough resources to ensure the bodyshop runs smoothly and efficiently at all times.
  • You will need to be active in the development and integration of ISO regulations.
  • You will instill and promote a culture of excellent work quality and a right first time mentality within your team.
  • You must be customer focused and driven and develop a "Customer First" attitude within your team.
  • You will be liaising and building professional relationships with customers at a senior and operational level and you must ensure that contractual obligations are met.
  • As bodyshop manager you will need to promote and lead the health, safety and welfare of your team within the bodyshop as well as any visitors that visit the bodyshop
  • You will be expected to attend company training sessions and courses.
  • What kind of person we are looking for:The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within a senior management position and be able to demonstrate their ability to lead and motivate a team to not only meet targets but also deliver and exceed their customers expectations.Some key qualities we are looking for within the successful bodyshop candidate are:
  • You will need to be able to demonstrate your experience within automotive refinishing and repair.
  • Be able to delegate jobs appropriately and effectively.
  • Have excellent customer service skills and demonstrate a customer first attitude.
